I often passed by the St. Paul Cathedral:
Passing by in a car; Perhaps I've passed it a million times, I've never counted, it always swells
My heart. I pass it so fast (nowadays, or so it seems) It's hard to make it out; but no need to, I
Know it by heart?,
I want to get out of the car and go up to it:
It rests on a summit (the highest point in St. Paul, I do believe), to what, I'm not sure,
It seldom changes its composure.
A passing glimpse is all I get'my eyes are not
As quick, or swift as they used to be? Getting old.
When I was young: to walk in those great halls
Of hers, or under her great dome?walk Around those monstrous pillars: often crossed
My mind?and one day I did, and I seemed So very small, listening to my echo? return!
In autumn, its copper dome looks bluish, with
Autumn colors of: red, orange, green and blue (around it): most beautiful. Leaves brushed across
It's encircling streets and lawns, by the Minnesota winds?.
They put on brown copper to its dome, a new Roof, they call it; about five years ago, that no one
On earth likes?heaven I doubt will even Glance at it now.
It's a shame, the young folks will only have Pictures to look at how it used to be, until that is,
Until the copper molds with age again.

A while ago I received this story from David in England, who wrote:
I am following your work with great interest as I am trying to get more information about the subject of ADD / ADHD for a friend of mine who was put in charge of such a child at school.? She was given no training for this work nor was she given any backup.? She was relieved to find that she was not the only one with this problem!
Although the child has finally been moved to another specialized school, it is likely that she will meet the problem again and so I am forwarding any relevant information to her that I can find.
Attached was a story from the Sunday Times of London, dated July, 1997. The headline read, "Zinc Diet Reduces Violence in Youths" written by Steve Connor,a Science Correspondent. Mr. Connor had some interesting information to report on a possible link between certain mineral levels and antisocial behavior in children and teenagers. He wroth, "Scientists have discovered a link between violent behaviour and a chemical imbalance in the body Quick Disconnectors that can be treated by diet.? It raises the possibility of treating antisocial individuals with special nutrition." For more information on nutrition and behavior visit the ADHD LIbrary.
The story reported that a study on 135 males between the ages of 3 years old and 20 years old, each with a history of violence, has found that such individuals are much more likely to have high levels of copper and low levels of zinc compared with non-violent people.? "Scientists believe such minerals influence behaviour because the body uses them to make chemical transmitters in the brain." The article refered to the work of Dr. William Walsh of the Health Research Institute in Naperville, Illinois.
Then the article went on to report, "preliminary experiments have shown that altering the diet of violent males can improve their behavior... It usually takes two to three months to overcome the copper-zinc imbalance. Copper and zinc tend to be concentrated in the hippocampus of the brain and the hippocampus is known to be associated with stress control."
Another study by Dr. Neil Ward, a senior lecturer in analytical chemistry at Surrey University, looked at Zinc deficiencies in juvenile offenders. "We think that it is a direct result of exposure to heavy metal toxins such as cadmium and lead which prevent the absorption of zinc.? The people we studied had a poor diet with excessive amounts of sugar and alcohol, which is also known to reduce zinc absorption," Ward said.
A question to consider: How would your children ever be exposed to high levels of heavy metals like cadmiun or lead?
The most common way would be if you smoke in the house. Smoke from cigarettes has high levels of cadmium. I have tested several children in my practice for heavy metals exposure, and each one from the home of a parent that smokes had high levels of cadmium. High lead exposure is uncommon in the western United States, but is more common in older neighborhoods of the mid-west and the eastern United States where homes were often painted with lead based paints in the recent past.

Are you ready to upgrade your residential service to DSL or business service to real broadband or T1? Well, the answer lies in what you need. Before you can realize your needs, you must understand more of what the word broadband really means. Below I will try to give you some realtechnical terms broken down for a better understanding.
First of all, you must know some of the jargon! The word broadband itself simply is defined as a high speed Internet service that gives you continuous access to the Internet on a consistent basis. Broadband includes a technology called ADSL which stands for Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line and requires a special modem to access the line. This technology uses standard copper telephone lines to provide Internet access speeds from 1.5 to 9 megabytes per second. DSL technologies or Digital Subscriber Lines use a higher frequency than standard telephone communication.
There are several types of DSL configurations including ADSL or Asymmetrical Digital Subscriber Lines, HDSL or High data rate DSL, and VDSL or Very High Data Rate DSL. A DSL line dynamically increases the capacity of ordinary copper wire. Since the signal is stronger the closer you are to the DSL Access Multiplexor or DSLAM the faster your signal will be the closer you are to the DSL provider's Central Office or distribution point. DSL lines are typically used for small business and residential customers. Of course as your needs grow, it should be understood; that the more data you need to transfer, the larger the pipe (Internet access line or physical copper wire) you need to transport the data. This is where more sophisticated forms of broadband come in for business use. The technical terms for this type of broadband is measured by the amount of data that the line transfers. T1 -Transmits data in the range of 1.5 million bits per second and primarily used by small and medium sized business with heavy upload and Internet traffic. A T-1 line is usually leased by bandwidth used. Typical uses are large graphic files, photographs, sound files, music, video, etc. However, your company should evaluate the amount of data and computers that are connected for Internet Access at the same time. T1 lines in the United States carry a 24 pulse code modulation (PCM) signal using time-division multiplexing (TDM). These lines use copper wire which usually connect major metropolitan areas. There are a number of high quality companies that offer T1 Broadband and you will find that prices do vary so it is important that you compare.
You may also find that your local cable provider may have introduced their version of broadband which actually can emulate one side of a T1 connection. However, you should be aware... you may actually get 1.5 mpbs on the download side, but when you try to upload a file, your bandwidth is cut down to about 1/10th. A cable connection is made for residential customers to surf the Internet with great speed and download files, but not made for you to upload with great speed. This slow upload limit is the major difference between a real T1 line and cable.
There are many types of broadband connections that are much faster circuit than T1, these range from T3 (3 times faster than T1) Quick Disconnectors to OC-48, and a frame relay connection which really are the same thing just MUCH larger pipes (lines) that can transmit the data. I have found while working with broadband providers you really need a persona coach to help guide you through the process.

Beauty is skin deep. However, the amount of sheer patience and hardwork that goes into the maintenance of a clear and translucent skin is more than enough. Moreover, in these days of metrosexuality, it is no longer the women only, who are calling for wonder treatments. Men are equally, if not more, keen on having a perfect skin and a glowing face. Anti-wrinkle creams, facial peels, face washes and the wonder treatments of today are continuing on a slightly different version of yesterday. [Did you know that Cleopatra, the Egyptian, was said to have bathed in ass's milk, to keep her skin radiant?]
Talking of wrinkles and scars- copper peptides are really wonder treatments for these type of skin blemishes. Wrinkles are characterized by incorrect deposition of collagen and imperfect skin cell layering, which is also seen in healed wounds, undoubtedly on a much larger scale. Copper peptides work wonder for these types of marks as they are formed of small fragments of proteins. Proteins are the building blocks of all living tissues and thus has a rejuvenating effect on damaged skin. Copper peptides are effective against various forms of skin irritation, mainly due to their anti-inflammatory effects.
Copper peptides are a promising skin treatment with a good safety profile. Their ability to improve the healing of various types of skin lesions is well established. It is likely that copper peptides may slow down the development of the signs of skin aging by limiting the consequences of daily wear and tear. Also, copper peptides may augment the results of the skin rejuvenation treatments based on controlled skin injury, such as laser resurfacing, dermabrasion and peels. There are also indications that copper peptides have the potential to improve wrinkles and skin texture on their own. However, more extensive and prolonged studies are required to definitively prove it. In addition, it appears that copper peptides may cause rare but significant skin damage in some cases of overuse or unusual sensitivity.
Any discussion on wonder treatments would remain incomplete, if one does not mention facial peels in general and TCA peels, especially. TCA Peel, which stands for Trichloroacetic Peel, used trichloroacetic acid to remove superficial blemishes such as post-acne scars as well as treat and cure current acne, correct pigment problems (melasma) and smooth out fine surface wrinkles. On some occasions, TCA Peels have even been used to remove and prevent the growth of pre-cancerous lesions. Yes, it has been clinically proven on various skin related cancers and similar conditions that can result in cancer. It is an intermediate peeling agent that is normally used in 10 to 50% concentrations, depending on the extent of peeling that the patient wishes to achieve. It is now even available for home use (please see the link Chinese Cord End Terminal below).
The wonder treatments do perform. However, do consult a dermatologist first as they can best evaluate your unique skin and determine the correct regimen for you.
